　　On the evening of the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, Jinjiang Lantern cultural festival hold in Anhai is bustling, and the special folk custom "attack on the firecrackers city" attracted many "warriors". Several foreign friends threw a string of firecrackers at the scene, attracted a lot of cheers,and surprisingly, two players from the United States and Serbia "attacked on the city" successfully.

　　Rooney, from the United States, is a high school teacher who teaches at the Anhai Zijiang middle school. He was impressed by attacking on the firecrackers city. "This is the first time I've ever been involved in the activities, and when I threw the first firecracker, I didn't think it was a simple thing. When the host announced that I was the winner, I knew the bonus was 888 yuan.It's a surprise."

　　As a teacher, Rooney now lives in Anhai, Jinjiang. "The students are very studious and I am very happy to be their teacher. Although my Chinese is not very good, but I have no problem in students' daily communication.

　　He is very satisfied with his present life. "I have been in Jinjiang for about a year and a half. I like this city very much. The people here are very friendly, and the weather and environment are very pleasant.It's wonderful!

　　In Rooney's eyes, Jinjiang has a lot of delicious food. "The food like Seafood, ginger duck and so on are delicious. Ginger duck is my favorite dish.

　　Jinjiang will hold the Gymnasiade in 2020, and Rooney is also looking forward to it. "I really like sports like swimming and basketball, and I hope I can participate in this event in the future."

攻下炮城的美国人Rooney：

“在晋江生活很有品质”

　　3月2日(农历正月十五)当晚，在安海举办的晋江元宵文化节热闹不已，特有民俗“攻炮城”更是吸引不少“勇士”前来“攻城”。而在现场的数名外国友人扔出串串鞭炮，引来不少叫好声，令人意外的是，来自美国和塞尔维亚的两名选手更是成功攻下炮城。

　　其中的Rooney来自美国，是一名高中老师，在安海子江中学教书。对于攻炮城，他印象深刻。“这是我第一次参与活动，扔第一串鞭炮时，我就觉得这不是一件简单的事。当主持人宣布我是胜利者时，我才知道奖金是888元，太惊喜了！”

　　作为一名教师，Rooney目前都在晋江安海居住。“学生都很好学，我很高兴能成为他们的老师。虽然我中文不是非常好，但和学生日常沟通没有问题。”

　　谈起目前的生活，他很满意。“我来晋江已经1年半左右，我很喜欢这座城市，这里的人们很友好，天气和环境很宜人，在这边生活很有品质，感觉很棒!”

　　在Rooney的眼中，晋江有很多美食。“海鲜、姜母鸭等都很美味。姜母鸭是我最喜欢的菜肴。”

　　晋江将在2020年举办世界中学生运动会，Rooney也很期待。“我很喜欢游泳和篮球等运动项目，希望自己未来也能参与这场盛会。”
