　　随着世中运正式进入“晋江时间”，不少晋江市民自发掀起学习英语的热潮，微信朋友圈里打卡学英语者屡见不鲜。与此同时，晋江世中运筹备组也启动了英语志愿者培训工作，成立国际人才交流协会，在对接国际化语言方面，为即将到来的世中运积极备战。

　　辽宁人王莉来到晋江多年，在孩子的校园及业余活动中，她深深体会到英语的重要性，现在，她坚持每天利用碎片时间学习英语。她主张学以致用，学的同时也要有所研究，比如，相较于“hello guys”，“hello folks”是更地道更亲切的表达。半年多来，王莉已经打卡了两个英语学习App，为自己充电的同时，她还会把有趣的知识点传授给孩子。同时，她带动了身边不少朋友打卡学英语，这让她很有成就感，因为学英语的氛围越来越浓了。

　　“作为普通市民，可以不用学很多，但基本的交流能给外国朋友带来良好的城市印象。”王莉说，“这一次，我们要凝聚在一起，更好地诠释晋江。”

　　“在世中运筹备过程中，我们认识到自身英语水平还存在差距，晋江国际人才交流协会应运而生，以活动带动市民朋友们共同学习，接轨国际化。”晋江市侨台外事局副局长陈凌说。

　　晋江国际人才交流协会由近百名外语爱好者组成，以爱好英语者居多。目前，协会大力推行“三语同行”(汉语、英语、闽南语)计划，并定期开展对外国际交流，每周举行三次“英语角”交流。

　　“五里桥公园、华泰小区、云台书舍……我们邀请外国友人一同参与，三种语言在互动中得以交流。”晋江国际人才交流协会副秘书长谢少聪说，协会成员在晋江鞋(体)博会等多场国际交流活动中献力，得到了国际友人的广泛好评。

　　今年3月，晋江国际人才交流协会连续组织了两场外语外事培训班，帮助学员掌握英语语音、语调交流、英语会话和英语演讲的基本技能，提高英语交际和外事接待的能力，共有近300名学员参与。

　　作为培训班的班主任，谢少聪最感动的就是看到学员们克服一切困难来学习英语，并珍惜学习的每一分钟，“每个学员为了达到要求都几乎彻夜学习，早上很早就起来练习口语。”

　　“随着晋江国际化步伐的加快，对外交流需求不断增加，我们希望通过培训，选拔出能为晋江所用、满足各个大型赛事需求的优秀人才。”陈凌说。
